Saferseas - Brest France 26th - 30th october 2015
Safer Seas’ formula

A proven formula

Designed on a multidisciplinary basis, at the crossroads of scientific, technical, legal and institutional skills and specializations, Safer Seas offers a one-of-its-kind, multi-sector approach for institutional stakeholders, operators and marine and maritime professionals, enterprises and research institutes, students...

Centred on a main conference whose scope encompasses the whole of nowadays and tomorrow’s maritime stakes, Safer Seas’ built allows its participants to have in-depth debates within specialized meetings, to discover the expertise of maritime companies and operators  staged at the trade show and to visit sites of strategic interest. Business teams of the sector are also offered with the opportunity to showcase their most innovative products to their prospects during dedicated B2B meetings.

The event's framework

The main conference

As the heart of the event, the main conference outlines, over two days, the numerous dimensions of maritime safety, replacing them in the big picture. Internationally recognized experts are invite to share and discuss in fields as varied as legal affairs, scientific research, technologic innovations or high level training, together with international authorities, institutions, industrials, operators and, obviously, seafarers.

Take a look at the provisional program here.

Meetings and symposiums

Safer Seas is also an opportunity for the different communities of the maritime world to meet and hold specialized symposiums. Therefore, the "general interest" main conference coexists with meetings of experts of one particular field, both being more or less loosely connected for a mutual benefit. The 2015 edition of Safer Seas is proud to welcome on board:

Last, but not least, in the wake of Safer Seas, the centre of congress Le Quartz will host the European Commission DG MARE and the 2nd edition of the Atlantic Stakeholder Platform Conference.

Trade show

The trade show offers enterprises and companies with the opportunity to demonstrate their products and their innovations. A place for people to meet and ideas to be shared if there ever was one, the trade show is where offer meets demand and needs meet solutions.

It will take place on October, 27 and 28.
