Sea Tech Week® 2020

Sea Tech Week® 2020

In 2020, the Campus mondial de la mer re-imagined how to connect the exhibitors, the speakers, the conference goers and the media from around the World while prioritising health and safety. To keep all components of the Sea tech Week® and switch them in virtual was the challenge to solve for the 12th edition.

The result?

A virtual congress centre, where attendees were able to enter Webinar rooms (live sessions and replays), visit the exhibition, plan their B2B meetings and read posters and press releases.

And also a Before in Brest

Bringing together more than a hundred players from the local community who wanted to get together after a period of confinement, the "Before" marked a high point from the local to the international level and provided an opportunity to present this special edition of Sea Tech Week®. The keynote by Serge Segura, Ambassador in charge of the oceans at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, added perspective to the central theme of Sea Tech Week®. Finally, the Before was the occasion for the French Institute of the Sea (IFM) to award its national prize to the sailor Anne Quéméré.
