      • Discover the high-level sessions of Sea Tech Week

      • To mark Sea Tech Week, a number of high-level sessions will be held from 15 to 17 October, covering topics of crucial importance to the maritime sector

        •  15 October: Maritime security.
        • Speakers will include Vincent Kerbaol, Site Director at CLS Brest; Roland Joannic, Head of the Coastguard, Cyber and Deep Seabed Operations at SG Mer; Guillaume Muller from the French Customs and Excise Department (DGDDI); Capitaine de Fregate Thomas Scalabre, Director of the MICA Center; and Xavier Rebour, Director of France Cyber Maritime.
           
        • 16 October: Maritime environment.
        • Speakers include Sébastien Smet, Head of Services at Actimar; Fabien Boileau, Director of Marine Protected Areas at the French Office for Biodiversity; Sandrine Barbier, Deputy Director of Legal Affairs at the Ministry of European and Foreign Affairs; and Frédéric Hébert, Director of the Sustainable Development Department at EMSA (European Maritime Safety Agency).
           
        • 17 October: Safety at sea and resilience.
        • This session will focus on the safety of goods and people at sea. Experts such as Christophe Logette, Director of Cedre, Éric Levert, Deputy Ambassador at France's Permanent Representation at the IMO; Paul Hegarty, Head of the National Maritime College of Ireland, Barbara Sellier, Deputy Head of the Maritime Safety Unit DG MOVE.

        These sessions promise to be enriching exchanges on major issues for the future of the maritime sector.
