Thank you for your participation and see you in 2020!

With a thousand participants, nearly a third of whom were from twenty or so different countries, Sea Tech Week 2018 proved to be a big hit thanks to the quality of its programme and its contributors.

Boasting some 1 000 participants, Sea Tech Week 2018 easily reached its objectives, both in terms of its visitor numbers and its international recognition. This is evidenced by the significant proportion of overseas contributors (30%) from around twenty or so countries, including Norway, the guest of honour, Canada, China, Indian and also Vietnam. With the distinctiveness of an event which is at the juncture of the domains of research and business, its trade show enjoyed similar success with a host of some thirty or so French and overseas exhibitors. A go-to space for exchanges with their most loyal of partners, for newcomers it was an opportunity to get themselves known in their market and work on convincing potential clientele. Indeed, with around a hundred BtoB appointments arranged in the space of 3 days, the participants, particularly those from overseas, were able to make the most of their trip by increasing the amount of networking carried out.

You can find the report on the 2018 edition here.

Save the date!

The next Sea Tech Week will be held from 12 to 16 October 2020 and will be structured around the very broad topic of “observation, from the ocean depths to space technologies”. It is a theme which should open the event right up to both national and international protagonists, whilst enabling the 300th anniversary of the Naval Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service to be celebrated in style…

In 2018, the main theme was marine bioresources, covering a broad sweep from resource characterisation and production to economic development. The objective: to spotlight all the latest technologies on offer in these different fields of application.
