The two key highlights of the partnership

Workshop "Ocean Tech Investment Trends and Strategic Opportunities in Ocean Data", co-hosted by SWEN Capital Partners and Ifremer (Tuesday, 6 October 2026, from 3.15pm to 5.45pm)

• Industry experts and investors will discuss the evolving landscape of ocean technology, highlighting both emerging investment opportunities and the growing strategic importance of ocean data.
   
• The first discussion will provide an overview of key ocean tech investment trends, examining market dynamics and investor expectations across the ocean data sectors. Participants will explore the increasing role of ocean innovation data in addressing environmental, operational, and economic challenges while delivering scalable investment opportunities. 
   
• The second discussion will focus on ocean data and dual-use technologies, examining how advances in monitoring, analytics, and digital infrastructure are transforming the understanding and management of ocean resources and how innovative solutions are addressing critical operational, environmental, and strategic needs.
   
• Create a network of opportunities for stakeholders in the ocean ecosystem: researchers, startups, clusters, and investors. Topics will include global investment trends in ocean tech, feedback from funded startups and impact investors, and models of science-finance-industry cooperation to accelerate the market arrival of solutions.

Held every two years in Brest, Sea Tech Week® brings together the international marine and maritime community to showcase advances in marine science and technology.
