SaferSEA is a 36-month project, which aims to contribute to a safer and greener maritime sector, and to provide stakeholders with solutions to support their transitions. Objectives: raising awareness of current challenges in the shipping industry, through study visits and conferences; fostering the development of projects (Open Innovation Call in 2025); identifying upstream technologies; supporting the development of pilot projects. SaferSEA is carried out by 6 European organisations. It is co-funded by the Interreg Atlantic Area programme through the European Regional Development Fund.
